🌿 Botanika Round Closing Announcement Botanika has successfully closed its $1.5M round. This round was joined by the following investors: Institutional Investors: CRIT Ventures (@CRIT_ventures) Baboon Ventures (@baboonvc) Marble X (@MARBLEXofficial) Daedalus Angels (@daedalus_angels) Angel Investors: Jongchan (@guyukyukgu) — Trepa Johannes Jäger (@jayhuntar) — Metrix Capital Fez (@fez_xbt) — Voltr Shayn (@shaynshin) — Voltr Soju (@0xSoju) Cristian (@kiddoq) For the past several months, we have been quietly building towards one mission. Hardware that actually runs. A network that puts that hardware to work. And a token model where revenue comes from real usage, not from token inflation. NIMBUS is the first iteration of that work. Botanika started from a simple question. "If AI-era infrastructure ends up concentrated in five companies, is there a way to distribute ownership of that infrastructure?" To answer that question, we chose to stand at the point where DePIN, RWA, and AI meet. → DePIN supplies the hardware → RWA shapes the ownership structure → AI creates the real demand Each is a narrative on its own. Together, they become an industry. This round also marks a meaningful step in Botanika's alignment with the Solana ecosystem. With angels coming from Daedalus Angels, Meteora, Trepa — teams that have contributed significantly on Solana — Botanika now stands closer than ever to the ecosystem where high-throughput infrastructure, real economic activity, and on-chain composability converge. This is more than a list of names. It is a foundation for what comes next. The investors who joined this round did not come simply to commit capital. They came to build alongside us — to help expand the Botanika ecosystem, open new pathways, and bring more of the right people into this network. The conviction they showed is matched by the commitment to grow this together, over the long term. The infrastructure is real. The roadmap is real. And there has never been a better moment than now. Most AI products start by moving your data to the model. NURA is being built around the opposite idea: keep data closer to the user, structure it locally, and retrieve what’s needed without defaulting to sending raw data into someone else’s cloud. Botanika’s NURA indexing and structuring engine is already processing data as part of the $2.2M RATP / Riyadh Metro pilot. The source material says NURA’s core indexing and structuring engine is operational and currently being used within that pilot.

Not every dataset compresses the same way. Logs, JSON, CSV and raw sensor data can have very different lossless-compression potential from JPEG, MP4, ZIP or already-encrypted files. For AI and data infrastructure teams, that distinction matters. The real question isn’t “what’s the compression ratio?” It’s “what’s the compression ratio for my workload?”

Start with 1TB of raw data. Before Botanika distributes it across NIMBUS infrastructure, HOA SEN is designed to compress the data, encrypt it, split it into fragments and prepare it for distributed storage. That means storage economics start before the data reaches the node. For large datasets, that first step matters. The sequence here follows Botanika’s own architecture: upload → compression → encryption → sharding → distribution across NIMBUS.

Builders working with AI: what creates the most friction in your data pipeline right now? Storage, retrieval, privacy, data movement, structuring, or something else?

AI infrastructure is not a GPU-only problem. Compute runs the model. Data still needs to be stored, structured, moved and retrieved. That’s why we're is building the data layer around AI.

Aethir and Botanika are building on different sides of the same AI stack. @AethirCloud provides decentralized GPU compute. Botanika handles edge storage and synthetic data processing. Compute needs data. Data needs infrastructure. The partnership connects both.

Great Morning! We’re not building another place to store data, we’re changing who owns the infrastructure behind it.

Don’t judge a data infrastructure network by follower count. Judge it by: → Nodes online → Active operators → Storage capacity → Utilisation → Data stored → Contracts → Compression results → Network revenue Those are the stats that should matter as Botanika goes live.

There won’t be one way to participate in Botanika’s infrastructure layer. Physical NIMBUS Own and operate the hardware. Virtual Nodes A planned lower-entry path into network participation without the same physical hardware requirement. Different access points. Same network.

4,600 NIMBUS units. Mass production underway. Distribution scheduled to begin post-TGE. Physical infrastructure moving toward network activation. Botanika isn’t launching $BONSAI into an empty network. The hardware comes with it.

On Oct 6, our founder @ifyouc1 will join Solana Summit Singapore to share what we’re building at Botanika Our direction has always been simple: infrastructure you own, not rent. Proud to be building alongside the next generation of teams coming out of Korea and onto Solana. See you in Singapore. 🇸🇬👋
Mark your calendars for Oct 6! Right after Solana Summit Korea (Sep 30), Solana Summit Singapore takes the stage. 🇰🇷 Check how Korea’s next wave is already shipping on @solana 's AI and RWA stack.👇 @botanika_sol is building AI infrastructure you can actually own, native hardware paired with RWA-backed data storage, so compute and storage aren’t just rented from the cloud. @vezta_io turns prediction markets into a single trading flow, bundling venues into one basket and one click. @YumiFinance is issuing onchain debt instruments for the teams building robotics and AI, underwriting the work instead of waiting for traditional credit. @RewardyJapan is the consumer layer: a wallet where 1M+ users earn rewards and spend crypto like cash. And @idolly_AI lets fans create and collect their own AI idols on Solana. Different products. Different bets. Same ecosystem. Catch them at @SolanaSummitOrg on Oct 6 in SG 🫡

$2.2M. 24 months. A live RATP / Riyadh Metro pilot. Botanika’s NURA data indexing and structuring engine is already processing data as part of the program, supporting AI agent and data services across a real-world enterprise workload. Commercial launch readiness isn’t just NIMBUS hardware entering production or $BONSAI approaching TGE. It also means the data infrastructure already has work to do.

An enterprise pays Botanika for storage or data infrastructure. Where does that value go? The workload is serviced by network infrastructure and generates real-world revenue. Under the Storage Bond Vault model, a portion of that revenue can be allocated to stakers in USDT/USDC. At the same time, $BONSAI earned by protocol-operated nodes is designed to be recycled into NMRP staking rather than sold back into the market. Revenue rewards participation. $BONSAI goes back to work.

Most token ecosystems start by asking how to create more utility for the token. Botanika starts one layer earlier: create real demand for data infrastructure, let NIMBUS nodes service that demand, and use $BONSAI to coordinate participation around the network. The token supports the infrastructure. The infrastructure still has to earn the demand.

Compute is becoming abundant. Proprietary data isn’t. As AI infrastructure scales, the harder question becomes who stores, controls and exposes the data models depend on. Our latest deep dive: Why Data Control Becomes AI Infrastructure

WHO OWNS THE DATA BEHIND AI?

The next AI infrastructure race won’t only be about compute. It will be about where data lives, who controls it, and how intelligence reaches it. For the last two years, much of the AI infrastructure
