Good Morning Readers.
This simple to-do list trick is what helped me stop procrastinating.
Let me tell you…
You’re not lazy, you’re just overwhelmed.
Most people don’t have a laziness problem.
They have a clarity problem.
It’s not that you don’t want to work.
Sometimes you just:
-> Don’t know where to start
-> Don’t trust your ideas enough
Or you’re staring at too many things at once
And boom, you end up doing nothing.
I’ve been there but now, I’m killing it. And here’s how
You have like 10 things to do and you think you’ll finish everything in one day, then you just lay there, scroll, and push it till tomorrow or later because you don’t know where to start from.
That cycle is real and I understand we all feel it.
But here’s what changed things for me:
I stopped trying to do everything.
Instead, I make a to-do list.
Then I ask myself, “what 3 things actually matter today?”
Say: 1. Job hunting 2. Attending Classes. 3. Practicing.
Not 10. Not 7. Just 3 that actually matter for now.
• If I’m tired or not really in the mood, I start with the easiest one, just to get moving.
• If I have energy, I face the hardest one first and get it out of the way.
Simple.
And somehow, that small start builds momentum.
Before you know it, you’ve done 2–3 things and your day feels like a win.
Not perfect. Just progress.
That’s the part people don’t talk about.
It’s not about clearing your whole to-do list.
Yesterday, I didn’t do everything I planned. But I got important things done.
That’s a win.
It’s about not ending the day feeling stuck.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed right now:
Write it down.
Pick few thing
Start small.
Arrange your tasks strategically
Low energy? → Start from easiest to hardest
High energy? → Attack hardest to easies
In short, (Set your to-do list. Keep it simple. Execute.)
That’s it.
What’s one thing you’ve been postponing? Be honest 👇
