I was surprised how bad it was just walking from the hotel to the Rails World venue. One strung-out guy wanted to fight me for some reason, another was swinging wildly and swearing profusely. Lots of zombie vibes too. Whatever Austin is doing, it's not working.

Spending more than tripled and homelessness went up 59%.
If you service the homeless lifestyle, you will get more of it.
The NGOs that run this system get paid by the problem of homelessness, so they have no reason to end it -- in fact, their only incentive is to make sure the problem grows.

Computer use on Omarchy is going to be magic with Cua! 🤘
1/ Today we're announcing the stable Cua Driver release for Omarchy - a new foundation for computer use, built into the OS from the ground up.
Over the last month, we worked directly with @dhh, @SpencerGBull and @vaxryy to bring a native synthetic cursor to Omarchy's Hyprland compositor, enabling true multi-cursor computer use at the OS level.
Cua Driver is open source and available at github.com/trycua/cua

About a month ago I was Mac exclusive, now I have a brand new Mac Mini on my other desk that I haven’t even bothered to open up and install. You quickly get very addicted to the Omarchy speed and productivity 😅🚀📈
So here goes - Roast or Rate my daily workstation + laptop dock + servers + Token factory
.. the workstation under the table is my old gaming rig , I sacrificed windows for Omarchy and now hope that Steam will run my civilization games 🤷♂️ otherwise doesn’t really matter as there’s so much going on in the AI/Tech space at the moment I don’t have time for gaming anyways 🤓
