Donald Trump is swinging a wrecking ball at our democracy. I confronted him before when I voted twice to impeach him, and I’m running for Congress again so I can keep fighting for our freedoms and for Maryland families. Here’s why I’m returning to the arena:

As we approach the primary, we’d be remiss not to give a special shoutout to Team Trone! That includes staff and volunteers! Healthcare is a human right - and these days, it’s being left out of conversations or entirely torn away from folks left and right. Back in Congress, I’ll continue fighting to lower prescription drug costs, protect Medicare and Medicaid, defend the Affordable Care Act, and make sure every Marylander can access the care they need without going broke.

We’re now just two days away from election day - but the work isn’t done! Team Trone has been hitting the polls and knocking on doors to hear from voters directly about what’s most important to them. Every conversation matters. Every vote counts. We’re in the home stretch - let’s finish strong!

I remain grateful to have the proud endorsement of a number of our state legislators - past and present. Today, I had the honor of joining Juneteenth celebrations across the district - from Germantown to Frederick to Hagerstown! It was a privilege to join community members in recognizing the significance of Juneteenth, reflecting on our nation's history, and celebrating the resilience, contributions, and achievements of Black Americans.

Firefighters run into burning buildings to protect our families — the least we can do is fight for the people who fight for us. Unions built the protections that keep workers safe, paid fairly, and respected on the job, and that fight isn't over. Proud to stand with labor and with @IAFFLocal1664 and @IAFFLocal3666 🚒🚒

Trump is hosting fights on the White House lawn while Americans are fighting to make ends meet. The contrast couldn't be clearer. He isn't fighting for the American people, but he sure likes to watch the struggle.
