Much of my work is more "military" than strategic and thus requires tactical and operational analysis before one can consider the theater level & finally grand strategy. But the technical level also counts, for which I must rely on experts: youtube.com/watch?v=zKFgFq0i…

With its second-rate universities Spain strives for adequacy in its technological endeavors but its schools keep falling behind. Hence the deadly incompetence revealed by the railway accident that killed 69 last week.

Store window in Stockholm 2026: "Jew free zone" Store window in Germany in 1934: "Jews not welcome" If you ever wondered what you would have done in 1934 Berlin, you're doing it now.

France reimposes restrictions on Israeli defense firms at Euronaval 2026. If France were still a competitive developer of weapons, its authorities would welcome Israeli participation, to prove French superiority, But since the success of its French aircraft w Israeli pilots in 1967, for Dassault (ex Bloch) it has been downhill all the way

US military aid was desperately needed in 1948 but it was denied as the Brits wanted. As late as 1967 Israel smashed its Soviet-armed enemies with zero US weapons other than WW2 half-tracks etc. Now the US supplies aircraft (somer models with Israeli systems in them) but Israel has its own missiles..

LOL...THE PITTANCE THE U.S. "gifts" Israel is in direct proportion to the power and control we have over it's military decisions and ability to manufacture ITS OWN WEAPONRY. The sooner Israel de-couples from the U.S. the sooner it will prosper beyond anyone's wildest expections.

Islam is collapsing almost everywhere, but it is doing fine in the US, just as Old School Mennonites (Amish) have disappeared in Europe but are increasing in the Americas. For America's Muslims the key advantage is the American refusal to suspect any religion. Most people have heard of Jihad rewarded with virgins to deflower but refuse to take it seriously.

went for a desert drive with a bunch of Saudi up&coming officials and executives. The Paki drivers kept stopping to pray, The Saudis stood about, chatted, smoked. I asked was very surprised by their answer: "we are all atheist...not just we are not religious..
Religious people do not practice birth control. But Iran's fertility rate is now much below the 2.1 replacement level, the Saudi rate is just above it, Turkey is at 1.4. only in Pakistan is fertility still above 2.1. A simpler proof of the collapse of Islam are the empty mosques of Iran, Turkey and most Arab countries

Read much on the disgraceful failure of Israel's voters to eject Netanyahu. How many European prime ministers have lost elections after delivering 5% p.a. economic growth ? How many PMs have crushed nearby enemies and exposed Iran's impotence under air attack ?...Yes Netanyahu shared a bed with two smelly dog extremists but still..+ 2026 economic growth is even higher

Socialists Find an Unlikely Political Ally in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey" Have not seen the film --after decades of Homeric studies I cannot, but do know that Its love interest is a Nilotic slave, not " White-Armed Helen" Hence its popularity with the DSA Third-Worldists

Many assert that US aid pays for Israel's military spending. Actually it covers 8% to 10% of Israel’s total military expenditure, down from historical averages of around 20% due to a massive surge in domestic defense spending. Because of its rapid economic growth, Israel's debt to GDP ratio remains below 70% viz above 100% in 5 European countries

Israel is known for its spectacular military feats but its economic growth is equallly spectacular achieving 5%+ in 2025 the war notwithstanding, and currently running above 6% + There are many young job-seekers, and more jobs. In stagnant European economies job-seekers are few, and jobs even fewer.

Once again Washington decision-makers talk of doing something about Mexico to reduce the flow of illegal drugs entering the US. The problem is political complicity, easily bought by a trade with spectacular profit margins. Because its foot soldiers must intimidate everyone else, they are easily spotted, but bought police ignore the obvious, leaving everyone else unprotected.

Once again Washington decision-makers talk of doing something about Mexico and the illegal drugs exported to the US with political complicity. Drugs are Mexico's oil but the profit margins are much higher, so there is enough money to bribe the army, the police forces, & local, regional & national politicians. All US policies fail because that simple truth is ignored,

By now everybody knows that the Houthis have learned to deploy, maintain, and launch Iran-supplied ballistic missiles and other weapons. But how do they feed the millions they rule ? With US-gifted wheat 65,550 metric tons this year. Did the US send wheat to Nazi Germany or rice to Vietnam ? Feeding the enemy
