3 months ago i resigned from @OpenAI. today we are launching Energy everyone will soon use AI for all work on their computers, but very few do today even though AI is good enough our users do days of work in hours. we'll onboard the world to working with ai

never ever write down posts for later, it kills all meaning thoughts are not words, they are extremely dense in information, you can't write them down you only have now to post it and get your thoughts into words, write down the idea for later and it loses all insight

it's very hard to post on x without a sudden flash of inspiration, that is out of your control you can immediately notice any post where people want the benefits of x but force themselves to post it has similar bad vibes to reading ai generated text

i do it every now and then, but very rarely. it always starts with "i want thing x" and then i realize odds of thing x increases if i post about it but you're paying with your online credibility which is probably more important than you think

i think it's that an emotion or feeling or insight is incompressible information and if you're good at expressing yourself you can get a lot of it out while if you start with what outcome you want it's just sparse words

Energy can now remember your logins, sign in for you, and even pay with your credit card. Your credentials are only stored locally, in your Mac's secure storage, and never exposed to LLMs. We also support 1Password.

i love that with every openai release i know it will be a big upgrade with anthropic i need to wait it out for a week to see if there were any catastrophic problems with the model first

where you work is the most important career decision you'll make, very commonly there can be a 10x difference in learning, cash and great colleagues between companies, so spending 5% of your entire career optimizing where to work is very reasonable
