In Louisville like elsewhere, a lack of body camera footage serves the officers who elected to turn off their body cameras. We need laws that make the absence of body camera footage cause to doubt the accounting of the officer that made that choice.

And you know, I never thought I'd say this, but @realDonaldTrump was right: We're winning at Covid-19 deaths, deaths at the hands of police, winning at mass incarceration. We're number one on so many scales, and he was right, I'm tired of winning.
