I think if a football team wins a game 84-0 it's an embarrassment -- primarily to the winner. It's a clear signal your team should not be playing that game, and the adults in charge have lost the plot. I know money changes hands but that only makes it more embarrassing.

I didn't get to it in the column but I really enjoyed the @Served_Podcast stunt of doing their show in a SUV on the way home at 2-3 AM or so. Really captured the goofy/exhausted vibe of a tournament that puts a strain on even the people just there to watch...
