I was reminded about Yoko Taro's insane rewrite of Monster Hunter: Rise, and it made me think about how refreshing it is sometimes how uncomplicated Monster Hunter's story is. Nobody seems to have ulterior motives, there's no infighting among the people, you just hunt monsters.
