From the race track to the many careers behind it, we’re working to help more young people see that there’s a place for them in the industry. Because motorsport’s future should be shaped by talent from every background. More access. More opportunity. More inclusion in motorsport. 🏁

This #NationalInclusionWeek, the theme is 'Build Trust. Navigate Change.' - a reminder that inclusion takes more than good intentions. It takes action, accountability, and a commitment to keep moving forward. And that action must start by listening to young people. At Mission 44, we believe a more inclusive world of work starts in the classroom. That’s why our work spans classroom to career, and why we’re committed to giving young people a platform to share what needs to change. Speaking directly to school leaders, policymakers, and others with the power to shape a more inclusive education system, Brayan shared his perspective on what meaningful inclusion looks like for young people. His was one of many young voices we heard - voices that should be at the heart of the decisions that affect their education and their futures. Young people’s voices and lived experiences must be part of the conversation about creating a more inclusive education system. Today, Mission 44 Youth Advisor Faysal has a letter published in @guardian, sharing his personal experience of internal exclusion and its impact on young people. Responding to recent reporting on the rise of internal exclusion in England’s secondary schools, Faysal offers an important perspective on what these measures can mean for the pupils experiencing them. We’re excited to announce Dame Hayaatun Sillem as the new Chair of Mission 44’s Board of Trustees. Dame Hayaatun has been part of our story since the very beginning. She co-chaired The Hamilton Commission with our founder Sir @LewisHamilton, the findings of which helped lay the foundations for Mission 44, and she has served on our Board since we launched. Her appointment comes at an exciting moment for Mission 44, as we grow our work in the UK and internationally to build a fairer future for young people.
