Prince’s estate has released ‘Timeless’. A 10-track collection of never-before-heard recordings spanning nearly 40 years of his career, from 1977 to 2016. The album draws from Prince’s extensive vault of unreleased songs, alternate versions, live recordings and musical ideas, with one track representing each decade of his career.
Estate co-manager Londell McMillan also addressed the use of AI on the project, saying: “There will never be any AI associated with Prince as long as I’m involved. It’s only going to be PI, which is Prince’s intelligence, not artificial.”
The estate plans to release additional music from Prince’s vault later this year.
