On Wednesday, 23 September, Perpl is switching to a standard fee model: charge on open and close
Rates stay the same. The total fee is unchanged. The difference is that it is now split across both sides of the trade instead of taken all at open.
The old model collected both sides of the fee when a position was opened. That was a gas-efficiency workaround. The protocol and Monad have since matured enough that it is no longer needed.
We’ll use the next two days to talk with users and keep the transition as smooth as possible. If you have questions, reach out.
