1) Why do backups not deserve the same chance to score & make plays? They work hard all offseason
2) More than EVER, film guys put out if buried on a depth chart matters. Could be a transfer portal ticket
3) It's college football. It's a big boy sport

This is normal overseas for big soccer matches.
Went to a PSG Champions League game as a neutral fan & was explicitly told I could be denied entry if even wearing the opponent's colors.
Make this normal. It's a dork move to go into the student section wearing a different team.

"No person wearing an opposing team's gear or colors will be allowed entrance into the student section. Additionally, anyone found to be wearing opposing team apparel or colors in the student section will be removed."

I can't help but wonder if the College Football Playoff committee takes this into account during rankings.
They operate outside the FBS. Would be some sort of justice to reward Western Michigan & treat Michigan as such, with the loss they should have.
The FBS Oversight Committee says in a statement that "instant replay protocols were not followed in the contest’s second-to-last play" in the Western Michigan-Michigan game, and "had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different."
FBS oversight committee says it cannot overturn the result.

The #Cowboys defense isn't a skillset thing.
It's much deeper & worse than that. It's a soft unit at its core that doesn't have a backbone to stand up to teams in big moments or fight back.

It would be really, really awesome if Christian Parker & the Cowboys defense realized corners and out routes are coming in a 2-minute drill. Not blowing coverage every play would also be cool.
