🚨 BREAKING: SNEAKO SUES DUEL OVER AI DEEPFAKES, DEFAMATION.
Muslim Legal along with @AnthonySabatini has filed a federal lawsuit today against online gambling platform Duel on behalf of SNEAKO, alleging a calculated campaign of deception, defamation, and exploitation.
The lawsuit alleges that Duel used fabricated AI videos to falsely portray @sneako endorsing gambling and their platform, and escalated its campaign by falsely associating him with violence against Christians and a fabricated terrorist attack.
One deepfake alone reportedly reached approximately 7 million views.
This case is about more than one influencer. It is about drawing a line against corporations weaponizing artificial intelligence to steal identities, manufacture lies, and destroy reputations for profit.
We are seeking substantial damages, punitive damages, and injunctive relief.
Free speech does not give corporations a license to fabricate endorsements, spread defamatory falsehoods, or exploit someone’s identity for profit.
