Design for the week for
@SourFinance
I stumbled across this amazing Futuristic project yesterday, when I was at their page I didn't really understand what the project was all about, so I clicked on their site and YouTube, made research, checked up the founder too.
And after much research this is what I came to understand about this project.
SOUR FINANCE
Let's start with an example:
What if every trader got the same opportunity instead of competing against bots that are faster than humans?
That question became the starting point for this concept for Sour Finance.
Sour Finance is a decentralized perpetual trading platform built around one simple idea: make trading fair.
Instead of allowing bots to jump ahead of users and manipulate prices, Sour processes trades in batches so everyone trading within the same window receives the same execution price.
It also removes many of the pain points traders face today - from liquidation bots to complicated trading experiences making the platform feel fairer for both experienced traders and newcomers.
Now my goal wasn't just to create another futuristic Web3 visual... It was to communicate fairness, transparency, and confidence through design.
Here's how I approached it.
🎨 Concept - Execution Breakdown
I started with the central idea of "equal access for every trader."
Rather than focusing only on charts or market graphics, I wanted the design to communicate a system where everyone plays by the same rules.
In Photoshop, I built the composition around strong visual balance to reinforce the idea of fairness and equal opportunity.
Every major element was positioned to guide the eye naturally through the design while maintaining a clean hierarchy that reflects structure and transparency.
I used the brand colors (yellow, light green and white) throughout the composition to strengthen recognition while adding depth through gradients, lighting, and subtle blending techniques
Glow effects were introduced selectively to emphasize important visual elements and create a sense of an active, modern trading ecosystem.
The overall composition was designed to feel fast, secure, and reliable without becoming visually overwhelming.
The intention was simple: create a visual that makes the idea of fair trading immediately recognizable before anyone reads a single word.
Great Web3 products solve complex problems. Great design makes those solutions easy to understand.
I enjoy turning technical blockchain concepts into visuals that communicate the story behind the product-not just its features.
If you're building in Web3 and need visuals that help your project stand out, let's create something remarkable together
