All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.

You encouraged us to care and grow ❤️ you were a maniac, a menace who defied all laws of gravity and it was all out of pure love.

I can’t believe Ben is not here anymore. My jaw was on the floor any time I had the privilege to watch him work. He moved in ways I didn’t previously think possible in the ring. But more importantly, he was a gentleman. Someone I truly respected as a man. Ben was loved by so many of the people he shared a locker room with. My heart goes out to his lovely wife and the rest of his family.

He was an exemplary person who defined what it meant to be a professional. He was truly one of a kind, a rare breed. RIP, Ben.

Not only was Ben the best wrestler in the world but he was the most humble person I ever met. I would tell him he was the best and would never accept it, even after putting on a 5 star match classic. Ben will be missed by everyone. Love you and I’ll miss you

PAC was, without question, one of the greatest professional wrestlers to ever do it. The kind of wrestler whose work will be watched, studied, and learned from by aspiring wrestlers for generations to come. His talent was extraordinary, and he gave so much to this profession. More importantly, he was an incredibly kind and humble person who genuinely cared about the people around him. He stood up for what he believed in and cared deeply about his art. He knew the kind of professional wrestler he wanted to be and the kind of art he wanted to create, and he never let anyone else dictate that for him. I always admired that about him. If you love professional wrestling, take some time this week and watch a PAC match or two. Celebrate what he gave to this art form and remember just how special he was. Rest in peace, Ben.

To many, he was a bastard. To my kids, he was Ben - who brought them Kinder Eggs from the UK, who converted them to Newcastle fans. To me, he was an incredible friend for 20 years. Watching a Black Arrow from inside the ring still takes my breath away. The best of us. 🖤

The instinct to share something personal about Pac, something to say "he was a really good person". But the amount of respect, care and commitment he had to wrestling and to being a professional is a line I can't bear to cross - but let that remind you just how good he was. Forever loved, forever respected. What a fucking Bastard.

I recently had a conversation with a coworker saying to me Pac was the best of us all. He was exceptional at everything. He also had an unmatched work ethic, level of kindest and humility. When I saw him yesterday for some reason I made sure to tell him about the convo and remind him he was the very best of us. I’m so happy I did. We’ve sadly lost another amazing human. As talented as he was his character was the most impressive thing about him. Rest in peace 🐐 ♥️

PAC is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I was lucky enough to meet my hero, work with my hero, but even more lucky to get to know him. He was a better man than I ever could have hoped for. I am heartbroken. I love you, Ben. Rest easy mate.

At All Out 2024 when PAC faced Ospreay, I told him after the match “That was very inspiring for someone like me to watch, I hope to one day be as good as you, man” He smiled, thanked me and said “Awh Nick, you’re gonna be better than me someday.” For the next 2 years, the conversations, advice, and positive thoughts going into things is something I always cherished. To have someone that inspired me so heavily have so much belief in me, I almost couldn’t believe that it was HIM saying these thing to me. PAC is one of the greatest innovators and Professional Wrestlers to ever do it. ❤️
