Day 1 of letting you know about @balloonsonape

Apechain <-> Solana token + NFT cross chain lanes coming. One thing I wanted to highlight: this is an open source tool I made for builders. I received quite a few DMs asking if we were trying to build the same system as @unvault, and that is not the case. There are similarities, but also many key differences: Unvault deploys custom, white-glove solutions, whereas my tech is built to be an open source framework that anyone can use, build, and innovate on top of. Their tech utilizes LayerZero, we utilize CCIP in collaboration with @chainlink. What I'm building will allow anyone to bring any asset to any chain without needing to abandon their home chain, in a permissionless way, meaning no signing up, no approvals needed, just one smart contract call no matter who you are. Just wanted to clarify, I enjoy building tools that advance the DeFi space that other builders can utilize how they see fit. This isn't a product meant to be monetized or sold to projects, it is simply a tool anyone can use, fork, or add their own custom layers to.

With on-chain regaining lots of attention, I wanted to highlight one of my personal favorite innovations: Social iGaming. A few years ago, playing blackjack with 5+ players against a dealer with a shared shoe, 100% on-chain with no server or trusted party, was simply not feasible. Chains with sub-second finality, lightning quick VRFs, and account abstraction has made this not only possible, but incredibly fun and enjoyable to participate in. Social iGaming will have massive market share in DeFi, in both this cycle and future cycles. Currently @apechurch is on the forefront of this and it is not even close. Zero server, zero trust, zero secrets, one smart contract and 1-5 cryptographic key pairs playing together in a social setting, winning/losing together. These players can be humans, AI Agents, bots, or a mixture of all three, the blockchain does not discriminate. Anyone who is interested in DeFi or on-chain innovation, I encourage you to take a peek under the hood at the Ape Church protocol. IMO the coolest application of DeFi primitives I've seen in a long time.
