they stole millions from the company about to be merged into paramount to make a batshit masterpiece about how movies can’t save the world don’t get me wrong, i would love for this to been a hit, but FUCK the pocket watching. THE MOVIE GOT MADE!! THEY LOST WBs MONEY NOT MINE!!
‘DIGGER’ has opened with $8M domestically on a projected budget of $160M-$180M. Biggest Hollywood box office bomb of 2026 & one of the biggest bombs of all time.

Digger is quite literally the exact thing i was hoping he would do more of post MI and i pray the horrible box office (undeserved) doesn’t dissuade him from taking insane risks like this unlocked something in him we haven’t seen since the 90s, so exciting to have him back
DIGGER is officially in theaters and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to create this film alongside such talented artists. Thank you to the entire cast and crew for your dedication, hard work, and joy. The experience was truly unforgettable and I’m so proud of what we created. 1/3

actual lmao, movie of the year??? maybe the most didactic thing i’ve seen in my life but i love how it weaponizes that to indict the audience. deeply hateful of how we narrativize catastrophes as a means to distance and remove culpability. tom goes god mode, critics found dead

Nicolas Cage says the Marvel Cinematic Universe "is becoming a well-funded and glorified WWE." “I do say this with love, but when I see these 50-plus and otherwise intelligent and remarkably gifted thespians putting on these ridiculous outfits and getting ready for the fight — let’s face it, it’s all cutting to the fight — it’s hard for me not to be reminded that the MCU is becoming a well-funded and glorified WWE.” variety.com/2026/film/news/n…

you know the movie is gonna be good when this is coming out 3 months before its release
"Avengers: Doomsday" star Alan Cumming says "I don’t fully understand the plot" of the movie ("I’m here to run around") and he only acted with Florence Pugh's stunt double. “There was a bit when we were shooting a scene, and it was one of the rare scenes when I was actually on the backlot and not in front of a blue screen. And this man came and said, ‘So right now Alan, these giant robots are blah blah,’ and started to tell me the thing, and I was like, ‘You know what, thank you so much, but just tell me where I point my, whatever I point. And I’ll do that. Really, I just know I’m here to run around'... And I saw Florence Pugh yesterday at the Emmys. And I said, ‘Gosh, it’s so funny. I’ve never met you, but you lay on top of me, or your body double did.’ And she goes, ‘Yeah I lay on top of you as well, but it was your body double.'" (via SiriusXM) variety.com/2026/film/news/a…
