This looks like 3 dark weather balloons suspending a semicircle of (quite bright) RGB LEDs. Anyone motivated and with a couple grand to spend could do this.
Now why/to what end/by who, I have no idea. So I guess in that respect, it is still an Unidentified Flying Object

But having spent a decade flying drones and watching planes, my gut says ~800-1000ft high and ~90ft long, Portable just getting into upper winds so it'd move erratically.
Also OPs phone has warp stabilize on (watch the clouds, not the object) adding to the confusion/spectacle

OpenMANET is a low-power, long-range mesh network for off-grid comms leveraging WiFi HaLow (8011.ah)

The current implementation mostly uses Raspberry Pi SBCs and Wi-Fi HaLow (802.11ah) chips from @MorseMicro. Like LoRa-based protocols such as Meshtastic and MeshCore, OpenMANET targets search and rescue, disaster response, airsoft events, and other off-grid situations, but delivers higher bandwidth at the cost of higher power consumption and more complex hardware.
Other benefits include full IP networking, built-in PTT voice, RTSP streaming from a camera, and ATAK integration. The OpenMANET firmware is based on OpenWrt, and the OpenMANETd daemon, written in Go, provides mesh management, an embedded React web interface, and a gRPC/HTTP API.

oh theyre totally buying flock and gonna kill the brand and roll the tech into their own cameras which (thus far) have been much lower profile/less scrutinized.
having worked with axon systems, they generally have much better security, so scrutinizing them will be v difficult.
Axon is a profitable company with a strong cash flow. They may clear $4 billion this year.
So it was surprising to read about their plan to borrow a billion dollars via convertible equity that matures in 2031.
The only sensible reason for this would be a big acquisition. 🫠

What Happens When Flipper Meets ESP32 and LoRa?
Combining a Flipper Zero, ESP32 and Semtech SX1262 creates an interesting platform for experimenting with off-grid communication.
The SX1262 provides long-range, low-power radio connectivity, while the ESP32 can handle processing, interfaces and custom firmware.
No Wi-Fi. No cellular network. Just direct device-to-device communication.
It seems a great hardware combination for exploring LoRa, mesh networking and decentralized communication but reality hits when deployed in field. We will see once it is available in India.
