People ask, I try to answer.
Inclusion grade by admissions policy.
(and before anyone asks, I have absolutely no idea why Ofsted's data release has some schools listed as unknown admissions methodology, or what not applicable means in this context)
ICYMI, you can download the new campaign group report that highlights heads’ criticism of the ‘brutal’ Ofsted inspection framework.
What heads really think about Ofsted: Urgent improvement needed.

Pretty worried about a lot of the stuff I'm hearing about Ofsted at the moment. I know vagueposting isn't a great look, but I think popularity and satisfaction rates are going to go even further down...
Three former senior HMI and three Professors have joined forces to create an independent post Ofsted inspection survey. We will be sharing our first report on 25 June at 4pm, and you can be part of the free conference discussing the findings. eventbrite.co.uk/e/198781445…
The Secretary of State should read this & hang her head in shame. She enabled Ofsted to do their own rebrand; she was content they disregarded professional responses to the “Big Pretend to Listen; and if tragedy recurs she will have, in my view, serious questions to answer.
I’ve been away for a bit. We haven’t been having the best time, to be honest. I’ve noticed a few things happening with Ofsted and their supporters recently, and I’ve written about it.
Ofsted, of course, are driving on regardless.

In the last year this has become extremely serious. I have supported headteachers under death threats, victims of social media hounding, and seen money that should be spent on children wasted on legal expenses. headrestuk.co.uk/blog/when-c…
Intentional vexatious complaints take up a lot of school time and resources and increase workload and stress for staff and volunteer governors. They cost money too.
Enough is enough.

The negative impact on school leaders who receive vexatious AI-driven letters of complaint now seems to be getting out of hand.
It’s dominating many of our calls. We seem to be at the tipping point.
What advice can we give to colleagues? How can we move forward?

It was great getting the @Headrest_UK team together for a catch-up today.
Lots to discuss, but 5 key themes emerged based on calls received:
1. Ofsted
2. MAT toxicity
3. Finance
4. Parental complaints (AI)
5. Small schools
Look out for some blogs to follow on these.

Wrote this with @BarlowCaroline a few of years ago. The challenges around inclusion haven’t changed, schools that are inclusive are still punished both financially and in terms of accountability measures. The big challenge of inclusion is one of culture.
