StakeDAO powers Institutional-Grade DeFi Strategy Execution with Enso
StakeDAO is a leading DeFi asset management platform operating complex, multi-step strategies across multiple protocols and chains. Their users expect capital efficiency, safety, and flawless execution at scale, often deploying six- to seven-figure amounts in a single flow.
To support this, StakeDAO integrated Enso deeply into their core product and operations to power:
- Deposits into any strategy from any token
- Withdrawals from any strategy to any token
- Strategy-to-strategy migrations
- Compounding of Liquid Locker rewards
- Compounding of strategy rewards
All via single-click, fully bundled, pre-simulated transactions.
The Problem
Before integrating Enso, interacting with advanced strategies required users to manually coordinate a long chain of actions.
A deposit often meant navigating several frontends, swapping tokens across liquidity venues, bridging assets between chains, minting LP or position tokens, staking them into strategy contracts, and repeating similar steps for withdrawals or migrations. Each part of the flow introduced new gas costs, new failure points, and new opportunities for user error.
This created:
- Higher failure risk
- Higher gas costs
- Worse UX
- Larger surface area for user error
- Friction for both retail and power users
For a platform like StakeDAO, this was unacceptable, especially when serving users who regularly deploy six-figure+ positions.
The Enso Solution
StakeDAO integrated Enso as their execution and orchestration layer across their product. Rather than treating execution as a series of loosely connected transactions, StakeDAO integrated Enso directly as their orchestration layer across the full strategy lifecycle. Enso became the system responsible for coordinating swaps, bridges, liquidity creation, protocol interactions, staking, migrations, and compounding into unified execution flows.
With Enso, they can now offer:
- Deposit into any strategy from any token
- Withdraw from any strategy into any token
- One-click strategy migrations
- Automated compounding flows
- Fully bundled transactions across swaps, bridges, LP minting, protocol interactions, and staking
All routes are:
- Deterministic
- Pre-simulated before execution
- Optimized for success and safety
- Battle-tested in production
Enso used on Stake DAO unlocked the God mode for defi farmers: it allowed to jump from one strategy to another, from one liquidity pool on Curve to a Pendle strategy, from one token to another, pretty much always with the best route, and all in one transaction. - @Hubertx13 - StakeDAO
From the user’s perspective, everything happens in one click.
Every route is simulated before execution, validated for success, and optimized to minimize risk and inefficiency.
Real Numbers From a Real Migration
On Arbitrum, the Enso Router executed atomically:
- Claimed 0.833 CRV in rewards
- Withdrew LP tokens from gauge
- Removed liquidity → 52,056.25 USDC
- Swapped to 16.83 WETH via Odos
- Bridged to Ethereum via Stargate
If any step had failed, everything would have reverted. The user would still hold their original gauge position.
On Ethereum, the destination transaction:
- Split 16.82 ETH across four Uniswap V4 pools
- Routed through Curve aggregators
- Created LP position with crvUSD and frxUSD
- Staked in Stake DAO vault
- Delivered 51,923.10 vault tokens to user
Again: all-or-nothing. No intermediate states. No manual cleanup.
Deep Integration = Maximum Value
StakeDAO didn’t approach Enso as a surface-level routing tool.
They embedded it into every core operation of their platform, from initial deposits to long-term strategy maintenance. Enso worked closely with their team to tailor execution logic to specific strategy designs, adapt routing behavior to protocol constraints, and build bespoke paths where standard flows weren’t sufficient.
This is where partners see the maximum value from Enso:
Enso also worked closely with StakeDAO to:
- Customize flows to their strategy design
- Adapt routing logic to their constraints
- Build bespoke execution paths where needed
Reliability at Scale
This architectural shift fundamentally changed what StakeDAO could offer its users.
Bundled execution drastically reduced gas overhead while eliminating most failure scenarios tied to partial transactions. Pre-simulation ensured routes executed exactly as intended before touching onchain state. Deterministic flows replaced the uncertainty of manual multi-step operations.
Enso is built for:
- High-value transactions
- Complex multi-step flows
- Deterministic execution
- Pre-trade simulation and validation
- Production-grade reliability
“StakeDAO is a perfect example of what becomes possible when Enso is deeply integrated into a protocol’s core flow. Together, we’re not just improving UX — we’re redefining what safe, scalable, production-grade DeFi execution looks like.”
This makes it suitable not only for retail UX but also for institutional and protocol-grade operations.
StakeDAO’s success is not about a single product improvement.
It demonstrates what becomes possible when execution quality is treated as foundational infrastructure.
