Yesterday we paid $1.1 Million in Airdrop 1.
Today, we are confirming that Airdrop 2 will be paid before April 15, and we are renaming the format to Cashdrop to remove any confusion around tokens.
Cashdrop 2 will be a single-day $4 Million distribution to opted-in users. That takes the total distributed across the first two drops to $5.1 Million in just two weeks.
We have listened closely to the community, and one thing is clear. When the reward is cash, people compare it to their own playing metrics, not to token mooning hopium. They want to judge it against real activity, real outcomes and real value, and that is entirely fair.
So for Cashdrop 2, every eligible user will receive the higher of:
$90 per million MetaWin points
or
4.5% of lifetime net cash loss
Whichever number is better for you mathematically is the one you shall receive.
For players who are net cash positive overall, the calculated amount will be adjusted down by 30%.
This is a materially bigger and faster distribution than the model we originally planned. Instead of $3.3 million over three months, we are now moving to $5.1 million over two weeks, with $4 Million landing in a single day.
That is a major step up, and it says everything about how we operate. When the facts change, we respond. When the community speaks, we listen. And when we believe there is a better way to do something, we act on it.
We are also committing a further $3 Million Cashdrop on July 15, weighted based on activity across April, May and June, using the new Meta Points model as the basis of calculation.
That brings the total confirmed Cashdrop amount to $8.1 Million.
All Cashdrops will be paid in stablecoin such as USDT, with a simple 1x turn before withdrawal.
We also want to be clear on the bigger picture.
We pivoted away from the token for now because we did not believe launching it in these market conditions was the right move. The market gave us its answer, and we listened. More importantly, we stayed objective. We were not prepared to force through something that we did not believe had the right setup, the right longevity, or the right outcome for this community.
And that is exactly what this community has always been about.
