Last week, Inseparable's Mental Health Policy Academy brought together 25 policymakers from 11 states to explore policies that strengthen mental health in their communities. Over two days, they explored ways to help people find care close to home, meet a crisis with the right support, and grow the mental health workforce. Thank you to this terrific group for the rich conversations and fresh ideas. We can't wait to see what they build back home.

Sadly, many people don’t know where to turn when they experience a mental health emergency. Alaska is making moves to change this. With two new crisis stabilization centers expected to open within the next year, Alaska is working to close a critical gap in the state’s crisis response system.
