this is the chart i keep coming back to.
395,316 shards spent across 62,375 transactions, with weekly usage moving from a few thousand in spring to tens of thousands now.
most of that is still mystery boxes. but we have started adding more things people can do with shards: raffle entries, megapot tickets, and more integrations coming.
here's the part i find interesting.
when people have the choice between paying the direct price and losing that money, or depositing much more through lingo and keeping their principal, they are choosing to deposit.
that tells me the demand was never really for the loss.
people want the chance of a return. they want the anticipation and the upside, but in a format where participating does not mean their deposit disappears.
that is the whole point of lingo.
we still have a lot of work to do on the economics. this only becomes a meaningful business if we can balance rewards, revenue and growth at scale.
but the early signs are strong: people are spending more shards, new integrations are expanding their utility, and every new use case creates another reason to deposit and lock
$LINGO.
