Our new truck uses a high-pressure water system to take markings off the road and a built-in vacuum that collects any wastewater and removed material as it operates.   It gives us greater in-house capabilities for markings removal -- a key step in any roadway improvement project.

Queens Boulevard used to be one of the most dangerous streets in our city. Many called it the Boulevard of Death.   When Vision Zero was launched it was named as a priority corridor and over the next decade received major safety improvements.   Those improvements worked.

The bus shelter at Pitkin Ave. and Saratoga Ave. just got a bit cooler. This shelter is the home of the city’s first ever heat resilient green roof — adorned with native plants to keep it cool during extreme heat. New Yorkers who rely on the bus deserve comfortable shelters.
