Audience and Narrative Intelligence.

Two things AI for social intelligence usually gets wrong: it waits to be asked, and it sits on top of a dashboard. Saga doesn't. It's the first Autonomous Research Agent for Social Intelligence: brief it once and it stays on the job, on its own clock. And it works directly on the raw corpus, not the pre-aggregated view. Novel clustering. Custom embeddings. Statistical work no dashboard ships. The result: the Monday brief in your inbox before standup. A 4-market scan on one prompt. 200 high-signal mentions instead of 20,000 raw ones. Saga. An agent on the live data. Not a chat window over a dashboard → audiences.pulsarplatform.com…

How do you decipher a topic as loud (and fast-moving) as peptides? We set Pulsar's autonomous research agent the task of mapping where audiences intersect with emerging trends and behaviors. That meant capturing over 2.3M social and news media posts across the world. Enriching the data with everything from entity detection to voice-to-text transcription. And setting our research agent the brief of capturing which audiences are propelling the category, what platforms they're active on, and which behaviors and individual peptides are making their way into the mainstream. audiences.pulsarplatform.com…

It reveals a topic that’s reshaping culture, pharma and wellness across multiple dimensions, with the capacity to be more transformative still through new use cases, new peptides and increased adoption amongst different communities. Who do audiences think ‘won' transfer deadline day? We set our autonomous research agent the task of mapping the narrative trends around each of Premier League’s 20 teams. From Ipswich outspending Barcelona to Folarin Balogun rejecting an Everton move because ‘the Hill Dickinson is going to fall into the sea’, a host of different narratives (some more serious than others) conditioned the response to each team. bit.ly/4x6K6Xa

What’s shaping this year’s back-to-school conversation? Momfluencers, deals and a big helping of noughties nostalgia. We tracked how functional, deal-related discussion sat alongside cultural breakout moments. Even as @Target saw its brand presence amplified by mom ‘hacks’, @Abercrombie emerged as a surprise leader. Not because of any new campaign, but instead because of mass nostalgia – and some shock – around the provocative advertising the brand adopted in the noughties. This merged with different forms of remembered nostalgia around buying items for the school year, as different threads combined to create a conversation that looked back as much as it looked forward.

Yesterday, Nvidia's earnings report gave the AI bubble a serious stress test. Would it hold? The chip manufacturer's numbers landed in a market holding its breath. Audience narratives broke out in three distinct waves: 1. Sky-High Anticipation. Pre-earnings chatter surged as investors braced for the release. The narrative was dominated by anxiety, towering "whisper numbers," and promotional hype, setting up a razor-thin margin for error. 2. The 64-Minute Panic. When the print dropped, the headline numbers were massive—$96.2B in revenue (up 106% YoY). Yet, a mechanical "sell-the-print" reaction triggered an immediate after-hours dip. Social media velocity exploded (+2.6x peak post rate) with confused, angry posts demanding to know why the stock was taking a nosedive. 3. The $400 Billion Rebound. The panic was short-lived. Within an hour, market sentiment completely reversed into unambiguous vindication. $NVDA erased its losses and surged over +8% into the next morning, adding more than $400 billion in market cap. What’s more, a "halo-effect" appeared to emerge across socials for other brands in the memory business, from the US to South Korea.

Instagram’s new logo may have been less controversial than the internet made it look. The platform's first wordmark change in a decade was quickly met with headlines trumpeting backlash - much of it focused on legibility. But is that the whole story? We used our autonomous research agent to trace the conversation, and the narratives and audiences driving it. Read the full story: pulsarplatform.com/blog/2026…

Does the monoculture have life in it yet? Both Spider-Man and The Odyssey, following hard on the heels of the World Cup, suggest that an increasingly fragmented culture can still produce moments that unite massive global audiences. Using Pulsar's autonomous research agent, we explore: • What Spider-Man and The Odyssey tell us about the communities driving the box office resurgence, • How each film is building momentum in different ways, and why understanding the audiences behind that momentum matters. • How different facets, from IP to individual stardom to commercial tie-ins, attach to the conversation around each movie Read the full story: pulsarplatform.com/blog/2026… @SonyPictures @UniversalPics

Counter-maxxing is on the rise. We explored this evolving trend with @Newsweek. Our data shows counter- and alt-maxxing behaviors growing a full 15x in recent months, from whimsy-maxxing to half-assing and solo-maxxing. These trends put more emphasis on play and enjoyment, pushing back against the original idea of “maxxing” as a constant drive to improve, optimize, and be productive. Thanks Silvia Iacovcich for featuring our insights and including our perspective in the story! newsweek.com/the-internet-is…

@DoorDash achieved cut-through with their “Pick The Champ” campaign, letting Zlatan Ibrahimović roast every eliminated nation on the way out. One compilation alone pulled nearly 20,000 likes, and the credits sweepstakes spun off its own subthreads as fans debated how far five million shared credits would actually stretch. The marketing trade covered it as the non-sponsor outperforming most sponsors.

@KFC South Africa, meanwhile, achieved an explosion in invisibility thanks to a unhinged recreation of the viral picture of Lionel Messi bathing a baby Lamine Yamal. Only in this instance, it's Colonel Sanders holding a baby dressed as Ronald McDonald, captioned "Y'all my sons fr." The post traveled far beyond South Africa, picked up by marketing and meme accounts across six languages, from Thai and Vietnamese creative pages to Indian trade press.
