Hard to see baseball clips from the ending of the season and not think of dad. The house has been so quiet without him yelling/cheering for the astros or just having a game on the TV at peak volume during the day.

I miss having an arcade that I could go to after work, mashing on GGXXAC or SFIV arcade mode until other regulars showed up and then being in a queue to run games. I value the years i was able to enjoy that and glad I got to experince it.

Online lobbies now try very hard to emulate being in an arcade and I appreciate that but it just makes me miss that time more, yknow. At lease give my avatar the ability to knock over a stool or slam the cabinet when I lose lol.

Playing Fortunes Weave and made the rookie mistake of thinking a major party member getting KO'd in an early chapter battle would still be playable when she is still in cut scenes after! Guess who had to restart the route almost from scratch lmao.

"oh, I haven't arrived at the main hub city yet so this shouldn't be a problem since all the enemy units got to leave to fight again later" Oh, how I fool I was. Though being able to skip most dialogue/cut scenes is nice, for the occasion.
