Comparisons to Newton and Culpepper make sense based on athleticism, but the Jackson-esque throwing ability makes me think Richardson would make a great NFL TE 🫣.

It all came full circle.
The Kansas City Chiefs had the best draft in terms of surplus value that we have graded in the 3 years of doing this.
With McDuffie, Karlaftis, Moore, and Chenal, they nabbed 4 of our top 20 prospects. Elite draft.

The 2022 NFL Draft lacks the level of high-end talent we've seen in years previous. Have to feel for the teams selecting early this year.
It’s been talked about a lot that the 2022 draft class lacks top end talent.
So I went back and pulled our grades from the last 3 years and the grades agree.
Only 3 guys from this class are in the Top 25 when combined with the ‘21 and ‘22 classes.

Some might remember I had Toney as my most overrated player in the 2021 NFL Draft. Feel free to check last year's board (pinned on @GridironGrading) for the read receipts 🤷♂️
We had Kadarius Toney as prospect #46 last year. The Giants picked him at #20, making him the 7th worst value in the 2021 draft.
I’m not saying the board doesn’t lie but……. The board doesn’t lie.
