GMO ginger won’t spoil in one day.
There is so much misinformation about GMO. International countries eat mostly GMO plants. Infact if it’s GMO then it’ll last for months.
The cause of this is a fungal infection commonly known as ginger blight (or ginger rot).
Initially when the disease came it affected the ginger in farms but these days I guess farmers have learnt how to manage it till it reaches consumers table and then that’s when the disease starts to manifest itself.
This is the aftermath. I sent someone to get me ginger, but she got the GMO-grown kind. After day 1 it went from shiny to dirty and infected. I’m trashing this right away.
