It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a beloved member of our SOLIDWORKS community. Dan Herzberg was an award-winning Senior Mechanical Engineer and a true expert in SOLIDWORKS but to us, he was so much more. For more than 15 years, he was a familiar and beloved presence at 3DEXPERIENCE World and throughout the community. As the Boston SOLIDWORKS User Group Leader, Dan brought people together, shared his knowledge, and built friendships that went far beyond the professional setting. Dan also became the host and organizer of the annual CAD Monkey Dinner, the unofficial start to 3DEXPERIENCE World, a beloved tradition where friends from across SOLIDWORKS community came together each year to reconnect and celebrate the community Dan cared so deeply about. Dan’s expertise, passion, and generosity shaped this community in ways that will be felt for years to come. His impact reached far beyond Boston, inspiring and connecting SOLIDWORKS users around the world. His legacy lives on in the people he encouraged, the friendships he brought together, and the knowledge that continues to pass from one user to another.
