I got inspired by Grok @bot ....so I built Sub8 🐙 Local bots that live on their own VM Linux computers. • Any harness: Grok Build, Codex, Claude, or local models like Qwen 3.8 via LM Studio / Ollama • Password vault: they can log in without ever seeing the secret • Take control anytime, then hand it back Beta. Early. Works with any Grok Build, Claude, Codex subscription or fully local.

Sub8 0.3.17 is out 🐙 Desks come up without hanging Docker. Grok, Claude, Codex, Hermes, and local Qwen all drive an isolated Linux computer. Also Local Qwen 3.8 is a lot faster and stable. @AikaBotto has been running on it for several hours. github.com/sub8bot/Sub8/rele…

Sub8 now has a password manager 🐙 Passwords stay encrypted on your local machine. You choose which bots get access. The bot opens the login page on its own local VM Linux desktop and fills it out. Your secrets never touch the chat or the Cloud. Works with any Grok Build subscription.
