Hosting a multilingual meetup?
I built VoxFlight: host on iPhone; attendees scan a QR for translated audio + captions. No attendee app.
Paid passes; no auto-renewal.

Hosting a translated talk? Ask attendees to bring earphones and check audio before it starts.
I build VoxFlight: iPhone host → translated audio + captions in attendees' QR browser. No attendee app/account. Free download; paid host passes.

Buying translation for a 40-minute talk? Count the translated languages, not every language in the room.
Example: an English talk with 35 listeners who need Japanese translation needs ONE target language. If listeners need a second translated language too, that means TWO targets. Choose a pass that covers the full talk and listener count; a 15-minute pass won't cover 40 minutes.
I develop VoxFlight: one-way translation from a host iPhone to attendee QR browsers, with audio + captions and up to two target languages. Attendees need no app or account.
The host app is free to download; session passes are paid and don't auto-renew. Check current pass options, prices and availability in the app before buying. A pass does not reserve your event date/time.

VoxFlight is now in the Shipaton Showcase. I’m its developer.
Running a multilingual workshop? Scope translation to the presentation, and plan group discussion separately. VoxFlight is one-way: the host’s iPhone sends translated audio + captions to attendees’ QR browsers, in up to two target languages. No attendee app or account.
Free download; hosts buy session passes. No auto-renewal. Product details and App Store link:

Planning a multilingual meetup? Decide who runs the translation before asking attendees to download anything.
I built VoxFlight for the presentation part of small events. Here's the division of work:
HOST
• Start from an iPhone and share the session QR.
• Choose a paid session pass for your talk's duration, audience size and target language(s).
• Check the audio input and venue connection beforehand.
ATTENDEES
• Scan the host's QR and open a browser.
• Follow translated captions or listen with headphones.
• No attendee app, account or pass purchase.
It is one-way translation, with up to two simultaneous target languages. Plan Q&A separately. Downloading the host app is free; session use requires a paid pass, with no auto-renewal.

Planning a multilingual meetup? Before choosing a translation app, check:
• Talk or conversation?
• Target languages?
• Audio and captions?
• Attendee access?
• Setup and total cost?
I wrote this checklist as VoxFlight’s developer:
