I had such a great time talking with @BrandonMathis from @ThisDotLabs about AI and the future of software development. I really appreciate the opportunity to be on their podcast 🙏. We talked about how we're moving from grass hut era to the skyscraper era of software development, how engineering jobs are not going to go away, and touched on loop engineering a credible approach for large, repeatable projects like code migrations. We also discussed the need to move development environments to the cloud to make setups more consistent, flexible, and accessible from different devices, and how my cofounder @watchful_toast and I are building the universal react native product for managing your coding agents from anywhere. Lastly, we talked about how AI could blur the lines between product management, engineering, and design. It's a lot more valuable nowadays for people to push themselves to see the entire picture as an integrated game instead of specializing too narrowly.
