My wife and I tried to go to Olive Garden for the Never-Ending Pasta Bowl, but apparently they’ve adopted the SAVE Act rules. I got pasta, but she was denied breadsticks because the name on her birth certificate didn’t match her driver’s license. They said she needed her original marriage certificate. The couple beside us was turned away because neither had a passport. An 82-year-old woman couldn’t get salad because she was born at home and couldn’t produce a certified birth certificate. Then Steve Scalise walked in, showed his driver’s license—which doesn’t prove citizenship—and was seated immediately. Privilege?
