Experiencing random mute issues, crackling, or audio dropouts with a 3.5mm connection?
It may not be your IEM.
Unlike USB audio, a 3.5mm jack relies on your PC's built-in sound card. The audio signal travels through the motherboard's analog circuitry, which can vary greatly between PCs and may be affected by drivers, jack detection, electrical interference, or poor onboard audio implementation.
A few easy things to try before replacing your IEM:
✅ A cheap USB DAC (the Apple USB-C dongle works great)
✅ Our Turbo 3 USB DAC
✅ Or switch to a USB audio cable if your IEM supports one
Moving the audio processing outside of the PC often results in a much more stable connection.
