ASCO provides clarity around HER-2 FISH indeterminates.
Summary: get IHC.
0-1+= negative, 3+ = positive....if 2+ IHC and no change in ISH by 2nd reviewer, then:
1) ratio <2, copy num > 4 = neg
2) copy num 4-6, ratio <2 = neg
3) copy num >6 and ratio <2 = positive
