Hamster Kombat, Notcoin, DOGS, Catizen and Major drove massive hype on TON in 2024 The Tap/play-to-Earn era thrived because Telegram’s distribution is incredible, users could play directly inside the app, invite friends through chat and discover crypto wallets with out friction While that initial tap/play-to-earn hype has died down, amazing new projects are still being built, especially community-driven games I know this firsthand because I entered Web3 through these games, farmed some airdrops and eventually worked on over 10 mini-app projects doing marketing, affiliate programs, influencer outreach and community building My only regret is building audiences for everyone else before building my own. If I had focused on myself earlier, my Telegram and X accounts would be massive, but better late than never!
