Leopold Aschenbrenner's Situational Awareness is back.
Days after Situational Awareness collapsed, the fund announced a fresh $400 million investment in a private company.
It put $100 million into the same company last month.
The fund fell 67% in July, from $45 billion to around $10 billion, after margin trading losses and the Citadel transaction.
He is moving away from leveraged public stocks and into private companies.
Private positions cannot be margin called, so the same collapse cannot happen again.
