MegaETH Mainnet is now open to builders. This phase will allow the apps to deploy in advance and take the time to test and finalize any dependencies/integrations needed ahead of user onboarding. During this phase, even if the users will not be able to interact with the apps yet, they can still monitor the chain progress via the already deployed tools (blockscout explorer, dune, growthepie or the community visualizers). As a builder if you missed the 1st phase, don't worry, it's an ongoing process, and you can still apply if your app is ready to deploy.
The Frontier is Open MegaETH mainnet has been live for weeks to infra teams like @LayerZero_Core, @eigen_da, @chainlink, @redstone_defi, @Alchemy and @safe. Today is day 1 for builders. Apps will deploy and test while users track progress through explorers and dashboards.

Anyone building on Mega can now create a multisig wallet through Protofire. Shared funds, multiple signers, and clear approvals for your team’s treasury.
@megaeth is now on Protofire Multisig 🏎 MegaETH confirms a transaction in about ten milliseconds, faster than anyone can notice. That is what lets trading venues and live games run on it. If you run a network, your users can get the chance to create and manage their multisignature wallet on your chain. MegaETH sits with @taikoxyz, @Soneium, @cronos_chain, @Ethereum, @Base, and many more 👉 app.safe.protofire.io

$5M by June. $100M by September. Monster turned the nostalgia of ripping packs into a new way to collect. Congrats to the team on their milestone.
Monster just passed $100 million in all time volume! Thank you so much for everyone who has ripped along the way. We have been a bit quiet over the last few weeks as we build out Monster v2. We can't wait to start showing you all what we have been cooking. See you at $1b 🫡

MNX raised $6.4M in June led by @villageglobal, the network-driven early-stage venture firm chaired by LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. Angel investors include the best investors and founders in AI, finance, and crypto. Now with @AlexMasmej leading Marketing and Growth, we cannot wait to see exponential adoption of trading AI assets on Mega.
Personal update: after 5+ years in consumer crypto, I’m joining @MNX_fi to lead growth as CMO. AI will be the biggest wealth-creation event of our lifetime, with most the upside accessible to only a few. MNX lets you trade every frontier labs pre-IPO like OpenAI and Moonshot AI. The vision is to build the AI exchange: equity/compute perps, capability prediction markets and more. MNX was started by the Manifold founders and is backed by Dwarkesh, Finality, NIV + more. Everyone on the team is an ex-founder. Living in SF, AI markets feels like exactly where I want to be. Follow MNX and ping me for a Mainnet Beta invite!

Not nothing. Although we've admittedly not marketed what we've been up to loudly (intentional) - things are and have been happening. Once Mega decided to fully embrace first party building it meant going heads down to...build products. That requires deep questions on the then-current state, reflection and then expanding the team and restructuring with a renewed focus on key areas. None of those things are very sexy or marketable, but they're extremely necessary and took place. @ZokuTrade is the vertical I'm most excited by presently and combines the market expertise we acquired when we expanded the team with the technical prowess our protocol team already possessed. My opinion is that if MegaETH is going to thrive it needs to continue to push the structural differences it already possesses at the protocol level performance-wise to incorporate app and product-level needs. You can only do that once you've identified micro market structure problems though, and that was not something we possessed internally when MegaETH launched. So we acquired that knowledge. The benefits of that will likely result in protocol-level changes to the network that enhances market structure, liquidity and/or primitives that any trading venues on Mega can leverage because it's a shared execution environment. To me, resources are better spent in this direction. Where MegaETH as a network continues to structurally diverge from all other chains on performance, primitives and features so that builders (including us) can build truly net-new experiences. Running insane incentive spend for the chain, and diluting our team's time away from direct value-accretive initiatives, just didn't make sense in 2026 for our particular org. Non-comprehensive list of things we're continuing to push forward and I believe will make a difference long-term: - Sequencer-embedded oracle from Chainlink - Proximity Markets (productized latency) - USDm integrations - MOSS (just dropped v2) & MOSS CLI - Zoku - REDACTED Another non-comprehensive list of things still doing well and/or I'm excited about on MegaETH: - @brix_money just launched the first ever Turkish Lira carry trade onchain - @Euphoria_fi continues to refine their product and has added several social features - @mnstr is hitting daily ATH volumes - @stompdotgg just dropped v2 which is producing actually, fully onchain pokemon-style battle games for <$0.01 per game - @MNX_fi is about to enter Mainnet Beta for perp trading AI-specific assets (Anthropic pre-IPO, compute, etc) - @userocket_app is also about to enter a beta phase with a net-new trading structure ("distribution markets") - @hitdotone is about to open for v2 after reaching top 10 for interfaces on DefiLlama with v1. Things are quiet, but not dead. As things mature we'll get louder.
Can someone enlighten me what lead MegaETH to shut down their incentives at a 1B< valuation and instead do…. Nothing? There were some cool stuff and communities like Fluffles, Bad Bunnz, Euphoria etc. They killed NFTs, killed memecoins and besides of Monster, there is nothing else to do. Most importantly, they killed incentives, which should have supported different organic launches and keep the excitement. Sad to see

A first for onchain FX: the Turkish Lira carry trade, now live on Mega. The wiTRY/USDm lending market is live, allowing borrowing USDm against wiTRY collateral. Along with it the EM USDm vault curated by @Featherlend is up and running, accepting USDm deposits.
Introducing the first onchain FX carry market: wiTRY-USDM. Starting today, use wiTRY as collateral to borrow USDM through the @Morpho market deployed by @Featherlend, powered by @megaeth. wiTRY is a Turkish Lira yield-bearing coin that enables access to the carry trade. The wiTRY-USDM lending market unlocks leveraging the carry trade; previously only accessible to institutions.

Been digging into MOSS. Here's what I've found so far. Basically MOSS is a wallet you control with a passkey instead of a seed phrase. It's the same Face ID or fingerprint login you already use on your phone, and there's no seed phrase to write down or lose. The account itself is a smart contract, and it's been audited by SlowMist and BlockSec. The part I think is actually clever is how you use it. The wallet is built so you can let software run it for you, including AI agents, without ever handing over full control. Instead of giving the agent your passkey, you create a limited key for it. That key can only spend up to an amount you set, can only do the specific actions you allow, and expires on its own. You approve it with your passkey, and you can cancel it whenever you want. So your real key never leaves your wallet, and the agent only ever holds the limited one. That one design choice covers a few different angles at the same time. For normal people, it's a wallet with no seed phrase and a login they already understand. And for where things are clearly heading, it's a wallet an AI agent can operate on your behalf without you giving up control. So, Claude is the brains, Moss is the hands, is the mental model I have for it now. It's still early, it's version 0.1, so I'd treat it as something to explore but the thinking behind it is cool.

We're climbing the stack even further with MOSS. "Chains latency is too high" → MegaETH "RPCs struggle with Mega speed" → Custom RPC Layer "Wallets aren't keeping up with the chain" → MOSS We've had to continuously build performant, in-house alternatives at each layer once we realize that everything built below it cripples the stack above it. Right now only embedded wallets (e.g. Privy) provide ~decent UX because you can abstract away tx signing and remove private key management entirely in favor of Passkeys and social login. But it's not without issues. 1. Advanced features (like gas sponsorship) roll through 3rd party, multi-chain providers that will not prioritize Mega-specific implementations to actually utilize the tech (like our custom RPC method for synchronous receipts) 2. It fragments liquidity. New app, new address, new balance. Really annoying. 3. It can actually quite expensive for developers So, we're now at a wallet product to solve those issues: → Unify liquidity across all apps that use it (but allow for users to scope access/permissions on a per-app basis) → Keep it fully self-custodial → Passkey login, which can be stored on a password manager and accessed on both desktop and mobile → NO BROWSER EXTENSION (it's in-browser) → Optimized for MegaETH latency even when using advanced features (e.g. gas sponsorship) → Offer it to developers for free We also paired it with a CLI (next tweet) so that people can grant access to their accounts to their local Claude/OpenClaw/Hermes agents and have IT operate on their behalf onchain (also scoped to spend limits and timeframes). It's just another piece of the infra puzzle we're having to take on, but I believe in aggregate these things will lead to some truly next-generation application experiences fully leveraging our EVM. We'll take some stabs at it too, but all the tools are available to anyone in our ecosystem.
Every onchain app gives you a new wallet. New balances. More problems. MOSS is the unified onchain account experience. One Wallet. Every App. Your Rules.
