I feel so underexposed to @PharaohExchange

I have to take a moment to talk about what just happened and why @keccakdog and my devs are so amazing. We work way to much so we are always online. We instantly see the news and know that the hacker has AVAX, and we see that its actually on-chain. It was pretty obvious selling was going to occur so we turned off fee algorithms that are automatic on these pairs and cranked them manually for the inevitable. He dumps over the course of 2 hours, we missed some, but captured a massive amount (150k ish in 2 hours). We really do have the best tech and best devs, because I almost guarantee most dexes would have just sat idle but we saw opportunity for our holders from a bad situation. Not trying to dunk on anyone I just wanted to commend my devs for all the efforts they put in that make us so nimble and quick to respond to wild situations that happen in our space.

I think the most important thing for the Avalanche community this time around will be to embrace external projects, newcomers, and new developers. If we want Avalanche to truly shine, we need to think bigger and open the doors to new contributors. There will be some misses along the way, but it can’t always be the same people building things on Avalanche. We need to be open to new teams and new ideas, while of course recognizing that the existing teams/devs are doing a great job (@PharaohExchange, @TheArenaApp, tactical, @BenqiFinance...)
