You may disagree with me, but in my opinion, the AI sector in crypto is the most useful and productive. At the same time, however, it is the quietest, least liquid, and least profitable from the standpoint of classic speculation.

Buddy, don't rack your brain over this. If anyone should be worried about the Feds, it's Vik. Ask him sometime how he manages to be fully doxxed, run a real business in the States, be one of the most prominent Monero builders (which the authorities are trying to destroy), and still feel so comfortable and have no problems? Do you even believe that's real? This guy has something to lose, and even with the narrative of "for the good of Monero," he'd choose what to sacrifice in order to keep bringing that good. Has he ever said that anyone approached him about cooperation? If he hasn't mentioned it, why is he silent? So, do I understand correctly that we have a corporate businessman here who is developing one of the most banned cryptos, and at the same time is alive, whole, unharmed, and continues to successfully do business? Honestly, there are more questions for Vik than for you.

An important point I conveyed earlier is also that people within the social layer of the Monero ecosystem are vulnerable. Most of them hold on to the idea not because of a conscious choice, but because they don't know that this choice EXISTS. This means that injecting the narrative of memecoins and the promise of profit into a good social environment corrupts good ideas in people's minds. Degradation will occur not only on the outside, but will also begin internally, from well-known people down to simple adherents of the ideology. I'll be honest, but don't take offense. Guys like Vik understand business concepts and know the tools that can be used effectively. But most of them are also savages, knowing practically nothing about the modern web3 stack and narratives. As soon as Vik and his like realize that modern tools exist for making money through their audience, they will apply them to you. In simple words, they will use you. Corruption here began with the promotion of gambling; today we see a warning sign about memecoins, tomorrow it will be referral programs and financial incentives. These tools, collaborations, are capable of generating high profits. Influencers in Monero are not ready for this, they are wild. Expect a bunch of scams and rug pulls. A stage of degradation, corruption, and abuse awaits you within the social ecosystem. But there are things Vik overlooks as a strategist. First, the social layer of Monero and external applications is extremely small. It literally screams, come and build. This means there is room here and a low level of competitive environment. For extractors, this is a tasty morsel. Strategies of monopolization and exchanging value for colored beads, and later scalping, haven't gone anywhere. Supporting narratives such as memecoins, pseudo-NFTs, and protocols built on top is a gateway for a new audience, other people with other values. Through this gateway will come guys ten times bigger than Vik or anyone else existing here. Their goal will be to build with the aim of exploiting and substituting concepts. People like Vik will lose influence if they don't adapt. And adaptation carries with it support for the narrative of profit extraction and profitable collaborations mixed with politics. What does this mean? The one who realizes this first will take what's theirs right now. The one who doesn't get used to this and doesn't change their ideas will be marginalized in their own home. Privacy? Why? Let's trade memes. Hodl Monero and privacy by default? Why? Buy a virtual NFT, let's make money? Integrating a new privacy chain into the wallet? Why? Let's integrate what's popular among airdrop farmers, because fees and advertising mean profit + an influx of a new audience of customers. You will fuck and humiliate yourselves in front of everyone. I have no desire to watch this mess and state things that are too obvious to even predict. This is my last post on this topic. I'll come back sometime later to see how it all turned out.

I can only humbly assume that the plans are to implement a small app-chain on some OP Stack, tailored for @ethos_network and the $WHUF token (which, by the way, has burn logic). If the token were the native gas token (and the entire execution share would burn it), then the sequencer would be fed by subsidized ETH, with L1 data paid in ETH from the treasury, so throughput is capped by how much subsidy the foundation will fund. This assumption falls apart if execution does not burn the token, or not all of its portion, but instead converts it into ETH to pay for Blobs on L1. It's useful if you intend to build your own apps landscape by your own rules and control it. At the moment, I see it as a technical layer (under the hood) of app interfaces. Not classic DeFi or trading, but rather products tailored specifically for reputation, with their own logic: reputation markets, deal markets, and the circulation of reputational value (social liquidity). It's important to understand that these are just my reflections based on a one-sentence post. Liquidity with higher virality will be without options at first, that is, on Base. L2 Base is the layer for liquidity, WhuffieChain is the execution layer. Between these there will probably be a custom bridge, but its use may be optional, whether in one chain or the other. Also, one should not forget that having your own L2 allows for faster development and integration of custom token standards, as well as moving smart contract logic up to the level of consensus and the chain's base architecture. In such a setup, validators can be baked into consensus when we're talking about NFTs. In short, we will continue to watch with anticipation as the social reputation narrative develops under the auspices of Ethos.

They announced the closure of the project, but never understood what their problem was. Listed the consequences, not the catalyst. Community projects understand this market better than people who seemingly have a good background of knowledge to act competently.

This guy keeps proving just how clueless and useless law enforcement can be in crypto. And yet, that's essentially what you pay taxes on crypto income for.

XMR has a special face check. For example, if you don't know what that is, then you belong in @Zcash. It's precisely this filter that helps build a true community in @monero.

I wouldn't call it "better exposure." The influx of a shady contingent into the ecosystem and the promotion of scam projects under the flag of the ecosystem leaves a negative aftertaste and consequences. Those people who fall for this won't call Monero something new for them. XMR occupies top positions on trackers and is constantly in news summaries, at least in the CT information space. It's more like a plague, and one should hope that it passes on its own. As for the guy in the screenshot, he's not just the "biggest known memecoin farmer", he's a person with a very dubious reputation. So dubious that if you called him a scammer, you wouldn't be wrong.

Previously, I suggested that those with free time find and dox those who organized the attack on the @monero ecosystem through fake token standards and memes. I found the original source, the founder, and where he lives. If I get more free time, I'll find where he sleeps at night. If anyone from the community is in the UK, for example in Scotland, you might be interested. Yeah buddy, a private profile on X didn't help you.

The only thing I can add here right now is that this guy is just a fucking alpha signals seller for memecoins, lol. And he's exactly the one the other retards from web3 are betting on.

The harshest method to test whether your project or chain has a real community is to remove the economic incentives for people from it. Don't confuse communities with users or consumers. Most aim for the latter, and that's why they fail. Bitcoin was preparing for its realization for several decades; a community was being built around it before the first node was launched.

I don't think it's impossible, I know it, unlike you. I am not the owner of Monero. Nobody today is the owner of Monero. But regardless of that, we can distinguish NFTs from inscriptions/ordinals. You apparently have spent your whole life not taking your dick out of your mouth, and you don't have time to study the basic concepts available to any beginner. Even a beginner understands that these are not tokens, but centrally dependent text from a single indexer that loses its value once the one and only existing explorer stops working.

I think @opensea will be grinning at the @blast shutdown. @blur_io has its own problems too. Same founder, and he could apply the same cost logic. But with NFTs it is more complicated. Either they raise the revenue question through fees and sacrifice volume, or they do nothing and it is more of the same. This is not a fact, but a prediction that comes true if nothing is done at all.

It is equally important for you to understand that the Monero consensus does not define NFTs, ordinals, or a token standard, and none of these are on the roadmap. - There is no SDK for tokens, nor a native hook for an L2 asset standard. Monero is built so that activity is privacy by default. An external indexer that reads transactions only because you hand it your keys can track your outputs, but it cannot force everyone to independently verify transfers and issuance. That requires moving state out of consensus and breaking output indistinguishability. - That is an off-chain ledger and a trusted party, not Monero, not an L2, and not a recognized token standard. No respected KOL here will stake their reputation and create memecoins, especially on Solana, on a transparent chain. The only known and recognized memecoin that has anything to do with Monero is Wownero, a software fork created in 2018, and it is still alive, by the way. This is my immediate response to all 3 narratives that came here to pump money out of you under the reputation of cypherpunks. I can say with a high degree of confidence that if something had demand and community support as a necessary implementation, and did not violate the principles of privacy, then over 12 years it would have been created by someone long ago and would still be alive today. Where and why these weirdos appeared precisely now with their projects and mentorship about what is best for us and for everyone, ask them. But we have no idea who they are.

Hey man. If you're the type who runs around the chains looking for "opportunities" to stick your money somewhere and make a profit - don't come to @monero. This is a different crowd. A different community. Nobody approves of Fake NFTs, Fake Token Standards, or Rug Memecoins. We don't even know who creates them. These people have nothing to do with us, let alone with consensus. They won't be supported by cypherpunks, much less by the official Monero account. These projects are aimed at web3 opportunists in order to extract profit from them. We don't want this ecosystem to be associated with web3 filth. And even more so, we don't want people who come here to get their first and negative experience through losing money. We don't control the brand. Anyone can take the logo, call themselves whatever they want. Anyone can create an account on X, put up the corresponding avatars, and pretend to be one of us. With a little research, I noticed that the profiles actively promoting this have no mutual connections with me. They're either completely new, or have inflated follower counts, or their followers are from a completely different world. Whatever you see, just walk past it and invest in something real, for example, in monero:native.
