To everyone complaining about changes to the Bittensor protocol, I only have two words: Champions Adjust.
Everywhere I go today - X, Telegram, Discord - people whining about the new changes to Bittensor. It's a story of entitlement and complacency. We aren't going to get these prices everyone is calling for by letting things be. Too many junk/scam, bottom feeder, and outright mid quality subnets to push this protocol to $ trillion+ mcaps. We need the aggressive push. No other way to get there. If you aren't pushing forward in this game, we are falling behind the next project. And the next 8 are keeping Bittensor square in their scopes. I'm tired of hearing "this team works too hard to deserve this" or "but it is expecting too much that a subnet would register with their IM ready to go and funding secured.". I know some great people who absolutely shouldn't be in the roles they have at work - not because of the quality of the person, but the skill and capability of delivery. We do have great teams and people here, but that doesn't mean anyone is entitled to emissions, I don't care how "hard they worked". I don't care how loyal they've been to Bittensor the last year+. Perform and get paid. Be mid and dont. And investors - remember the #1 rule - never marry your bags. The subnets you have been clinging to for months - maybe out of comfort and complacency, maybe you believe in the team's vision and story. But if they aren't executing, we vote with stakes. How many times has const implemented a change, we see people show up rioting and not getting the full vision yet, then @const_reborn continues the explanation and everyone flips bullish. Each iteration gets a bit more difficult to grasp. But each iteration gets us closer and closer to being ready for prime time. I expect nothing less here too. If this is triggering you, go touch grass and ask yourself if you're staked in the winners. If you're stuck in bags that have done nothing but turn your portfolio red the prior months, this is your wake up call - it's not going to get better for the mid and bottom feeders. Adapt and thrive or dig in and fail.

Change isn’t necessarily bad for a decentralized protocol, but it does weaken its case as a monetary asset. TAO will have to pick a different narrative / prove its utility another way

champions are adaptable but some changes are just bad ideas. open to hearing the specifics before judging the adjustment. what's changing and will it be good for the protocol?
