Figma (Gemini 3.1 Pro)
Most accessible and intuitive at first glance, with a very good instinct for convenient layout choices. It did miss a few features, but the ones it implemented exceeded the design I had in mind. More opinionated than the rest; I asked it to copy Linear’s design system, and it was faithful. Much less bloated too: it made good decisions on what didn’t need to be shown, which Lovable and v0 failed at.

Lovable (whatever the free plan model is)
Super complete; it barely missed any feature. Feels smooth, but the UI seemed a little too bloated. I did say “for power users” in my prompt, so I guess it took that literally, which is fair: it literally implemented everything I asked for, and cleanly. Kinda soulless, and the UI looks very generic, even though it’s clean. Stuff is very well aligned, almost like it’s strictly following a grid, whereas Linear made better choices in some places, for example with indentation. All the components I asked for were there, but they were barely linked together. Failed the sidebar check, where it tried to fit too much and ended up making it horizontally scrollable.

v0 (Max meaning Opus 4.5)
Feels like the good student; the layout is clean and feels generic, but not as much as I expected. Kinda like Lovable, but rounded and shadcn-ified. Mixed feelings, because some small details were in exactly the right place layout-wise, so there was good instinct there. Feels more traditional than the rest, for example it was the only one to use a dialog where I had explicitly asked for a new pane to open. Failed the sidebar check, same as Lovable.

Replit (Economy, idk model either)
Perfect and well-thought-out layout; clean and readable. More bloated than Linear, but in a sensible way. Interestingly, it was the most “modern,” in the sense that it showed agentic stuff more intuitively than existing tools. Less thorough than Lovable in implementing everything I asked for, but after a second short prompt it fixed it. Most faithful in following Linear’s design. Very personal style, but I liked the color choices better; they were lighter than the rest, and the overall palette was very smooth on the eyes. Same for the fonts.
