Makes you wonder what was going on behind the scenes with Healey's sudden and surprise resignation from Starmers government, only to pop up as Chancellor in Burnhams cabinet. Fishy?

He knew perfectly well what constraints Keir Starmer had to deal with. He reason for resigning was a bluff. And everybody was talking about him being such a man of integrity. What a creep.

This 'sudden' emergence of Andy Burnham has been months or years in planning. It's backstabbing and plotting of the highest order

First thought I had. This was planned to speed up Starmer's downfall and this was the pay off without a shadow of a doubt.

Lucy Powell got elected as Deputy Leader. All of a sudden, at the same time, a direct link between cabinet and Burnham was created,an amazing coincidence

At the time I saw it as a deliberate act of treachery and thought he was part of Burnham Coup cabal. Being appointed Chancellor just confirmed it.

So, is it now another cycle of distrust , but this time the centre of the party versus the Left?
