Securitize Corp. represents one of the clearest attempts to build a bridge between traditional Wall Street finance and the blockchain economy.
Rather than betting on a single cryptocurrency, Securitize is building the infrastructure that allows real financial assets stocks, Treasury funds, private credit, investment funds, and other securities to exist and operate on blockchain networks. In simple terms, the company is helping transform traditional ownership into regulated digital ownership.
This is what makes Securitize particularly interesting. The company works with major financial institutions and asset managers, including BlackRock, Apollo, Hamilton Lane, KKR, and others. One of its most important relationships is with BlackRock, whose BUIDL tokenized investment fund was launched using Securitize’s infrastructure.
Securitize itself became a publicly traded company under the ticker
$SECZ in July 2026. In an unusual demonstration of its own technology, the company also brought representations of its publicly traded shares on-chain, initially supporting networks including Avalanche and Solana.
The larger story, however, is not about one stock or one blockchain. It is about the potential transformation of the global financial system.
If tokenization continues expanding, trillions of dollars of traditional assets could eventually interact with blockchain infrastructure. Stocks, bonds, Treasury securities, private funds, real estate interests, and other assets could increasingly be issued, transferred, settled, and administered digitally.
In that world, companies providing the regulated infrastructure could become extremely important.
Securitize is not trying simply to create another cryptocurrency. It is trying to build part of the financial infrastructure for a world in which Wall Street itself moves on-chain.
That opportunity is enormous but so is the uncertainty. SECZ is a newly public and highly volatile stock. Its recent 61% one-month rise to around $8.51, as shown in the screenshot, demonstrates both the excitement surrounding the company and the level of risk investors should expect.
The question for the next decade is therefore much bigger than where SECZ trades tomorrow:
If trillions of dollars in real-world assets eventually move onto blockchain networks, who will own the infrastructure connecting those assets to the new digital financial system?
Securitize is positioning itself to be one of those companies.
