The Coalition hasn't beaten One Nation in a single state. Angus Taylor's party runs third in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, and in South Australia it's down in fourth on 13%, behind even the Greens.
Labor's Queensland vote has crashed from 30% to 25% in just three months. At the May 2025 election Labor won 12 of Queensland's 30 seats, and its own strategists now expect all seven of the seats it picked up there to come under pressure.
Add up the blocs and the right beats the left 55 to 45 in Queensland and ties 50 to 50 in WA.

Too bad we won't be seeing it on Australian roads before 2030.
Many Australian regulatory hurdles need to be overcome including updating of the Australian Design Rules and finalising the draft legislation for the proposed Automated Vehicle Safety Law. As well as adoption and by state and territory governments.

China is embracing a nuclear power program by adopting a cookie cutter, factory assembly line approach for its Gen III+ reactors.
A reduction in red tape means the government approves 8 to 11 large reactors per year, supported by domestic supply chains and predicable capital costs of $2.3 to $2.8 billion per unit.
Reactors are brought online within four to six years and the industry has a highly mature workforce that move from project to project keeping keeping skill and expertise current.
China's nuclear plant capital cost are comparable to wind farm projects of similar size. However, the operational life of a nuclear plants far exceed that of wind farms by a factor of four.

Currently 15 million trips are made between Sydney and Newcastle on the train annually at a cost of $10.66 for an adult ticket equating to $160 million in annual revenue.
Not considering ongoing cost it would take 625 years to break even at this rate.
