1inch was born at a hackathon. Backing builders is part of the DNA.
The Aqua Incubator, funded by the 1inch DAO, pays teams to ship new strategies on Aqua: up to $50K each, milestone-based, $436K allocated. The first team is already approved.
Build something the space actually needs.

1inch APIs now cover Monad, Cronos, HyperEVM and Arc.
Same account, same API key, same SDKs. Swap, Balance, Spot Price, Token, Portfolio and Web3 RPC APIs, availability varies by network.
Adding a chain should not mean rebuilding your stack.

Opening an Aqua position used to mean leaving the AI agent, opening the browser tab and clicking through.
Now you can stay in your AI ecosystem and tell the agent what position you want to open. It brings back the range and the opening price. If you agree with it, your wallet asks you to sign. Later you can ask how that position is doing, or tell it to close. The tokens sit in your wallet the whole time.
Closing follows the same loop. Stay in the chat. Name the position. Confirm. Sign. It stops quoting and cannot be undone. Nothing to withdraw: the tokens never left your wallet.
“Preview an Aqua USDC/WETH position on Ethereum for my connected wallet, then create it after I confirm the range.”
“Close my Aqua USDC/WETH position on Ethereum.”
Aqua on the 1inch MCP could already read your positions.
Now your agent can open and close them.
Tell Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor the pair. It sends the range and the opening price. If you agree, you sign.
Every 1inch API supports @Arc from day one.
Arc is a new EVM Layer 1 built for stablecoin finance. Builders on it get the full 1inch stack at launch: Swap API with intent-based execution and MEV protection, cross-chain swaps into Arc with no bridge, limit orders and Portfolio data.
Aqua is live on Arc too: shared liquidity open to builders and LPs from day one.

HyperEVM is live across every 1inch API - day one, nothing missing.
Swap, Orderbook, Spot Price, Balance, Portfolio, History: same endpoints you already run, now on Hyperliquid's EVM.
Aqua supports HyperEVM from launch, open to LP strategies. Cross-chain in and out with no bridge.
Shipping an Aqua app? Do not quote much more than your wallet actually holds. Real quotes against a balance you do not have end in reverts.
Tanner Moore, Head of DevRel at 1inch, tip five for @ETHGlobal ETHOnline, the last one.
Want to extend swapVM with custom opcodes? You can, and redeploy the contract. One catch: swapVM already sits near the max onchain contract size.
Tanner Moore, Head of DevRel at 1inch, tip four for @ETHGlobal ETHOnline: remove the opcodes you do not use to make room for yours.
Blockchains are getting busier and cheaper at once. Ethereum: 68% more transactions year over year, cost down from $1.08 to $0.31. Solana: 9.8 bln transactions at half a cent.
What cheap blockspace opens up for builders, from perps to agent-driven apps:
Building with swapVM? Use the TypeScript SDK inside our main SDK repo on GitHub, and take the latest release, not the main branch.
Tanner Moore, Head of DevRel at 1inch, tip three for ETHOnline: keep the naming in the docs and in your code consistent.
Stuck on what to build? Other teams already built on Aqua at past ETHGlobal hackathons, and their projects are public.
Tanner Moore, Head of DevRel at 1inch, tip two for ETHOnline: open the ETHGlobal showcase, filter by 1inch, see what shipped.
The 1inch DAO is funding builders to ship strategies and swapVM instructions on Aqua.
$436k pool from the treasury. Up to $50k per team, milestone-based, plus revenue share to the DAO from the first dollar.
Backing 8-10 teams.
ETHOnline starts tomorrow.
If you ship on Aqua or swapVM there, the hackathon does not have to be the end of it. The Aqua Incubator, funded by the 1inch DAO, takes teams from proof of concept to mainnet: up to $50K, milestone-based.
The first approved team started exactly like this - ETHGlobal finalists building on Aqua.
