I understand why Larkin requested a trade. Frankly I’m surprised he didn’t do it sooner. But he has handled this like a total loser.
There were talks in the the last 24 hours between Larkin's camp and the Red Wings, both last night and again this morning, and what was communicated from the agents to Detroit was that Larkin feels he's given the team ample time since his trade request in May to get a deal done. Larkin has had enough, so decision was made he won't play tonight nor for foreseable future hoping a trade materializes. Fluid situation still. Red Wings circling back to teams with interest, etc., as talks escalate.

Yeah another big guy who can’t score and takes stupid penalties. That’s totally what we need. 🙄
Frank Seravalli: “One name that [Mike] Babcock is believed to admire is New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe.”
He also mentioned that Stan Bowman was examining the trade market after Babcock campaigned internally for more size and brawn in his forward group.

Leafs fans spending days whining about the pacific being a cakewalk just to lose to Calgary and Seattle is poetic justice ngl.

I know it's Tampa and he's not leaving but it is a little weird that no one is talking about Kucherov being unsigned. Imagine if that was McDavid or Draisaitl or even Matthews.

Not starting Tomkins is an odd choice. Yes Calgary has been streaking but Levi and Andersen are still gonna be out a bit, you can't start Jarry every single game.

Yeah this can’t go in. Gotta see what Tomkins can do and consider making a trade until Levi comes back cause Jarry is just gonna keep bleeding

Oilers lose against a rookie goalie on a bad team. Unacceptable loss. Should have had it in the bag up 3-2 but can’t score on an empty net and Babcock won’t let that awful third line go
