SCAM ALERT
If launch day isn’t hard enough.
1. I got a message from X Media saying my content violated safety guidelines.
2. When you review the complaint, it shows you the content and asks for you to review
3. Then they cleverly ask you to “appeal”
4. Once you click on appeal you are prompted to enter your password.
I was pretty suss the entire time as the content they flagged was all original IP
Then asking for my password was the final red flag for me.
However, this is just one of many ways accounts get hacked.
Secondly, they pick a day when you’re most vulnerable - tired after a launch, and just trying manage all inbound.
Be careful out there friends.
