Hey, Stephen A. Smith:
Lane Johnson's mom has cancer. His dad is also sick. I read your book and you talked about how difficult your life got when your mom got sick and after she passed, you had to go to therapy because you were depressed and you took time off of work.
Your mocking Lane Johnson's mental health struggles when you've been open about your own mental health struggles?
Come on, man. I know you're busy, but do some research before going on TV @stephenasmith

DIGGER VINDICATED! TOTAL ROCKWELL VICTORY! BANG! BANG!BANG!
Wanna be clear: Luca Guadagnino’s ARTIFICIAL is a horror comedy. About the destruction of humanity. In real time. You’re laughing at the ridiculous characters & also THESE PEOPLE EXIST, they’re running the world, and the info in the movie is already old. Fucking terrifying #nyff

In all fairness he said the same fresh off the success of Top Gun
Tom Cruise says he does not make movies for "opening weekend" as #Digger becomes one of his biggest box office bombs.
“Movies transcend… you just hope you can make a film that can last. So many things happen when you open a movie. I was fortunate to release movies in the 80s and 90s, when movies would stay in the theater for a year. With ‘Rain Man’ and ‘Born on the Fourth of July,’ these movie would just play and play for a year. How can I make a film that can translate and last and evolve? And I feel that way…. that is ‘Digger,’ it’s one of those movies. When I am making [movies], I’m not going, ‘Opening weekend!’ I feel very much like we’re going to make something that is a lasting piece of cinema." (via “On Film With Kevin McCarthy”)
